Our beach facility is located in a beautiful setting on the northern part of the property. The large sandy beach is on the east end of Round Pond which is surrounded by wooded areas. We feature a roped off swimming area with a float and a fishing pier. For water crafts, the beach offers youth kayaks, regular kayaks, a double kayak, a paddle boat, four sun fish, and all sizes of life jackets. For your enjoyment, we have beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, fishing poles and games like Kan Jam. corn toss, ladder ball, horse shoes, basketball, badminton and volleyball.
The beach house has a covered porch with tables and chairs, men’s and women’s changing rooms, bathrooms and a hot shower. We have a refrigerator and a micro wave. A large grassy lawn provides a shaded area with a swing set, picnic tables, grill, lounging chairs and a screened covered pavilion with tables and chairs. We even have a tiki bar to round out the beach party atmosphere. You can bring your own food or you can order from the club house. We have menus and the staff will deliver.
As you can see, all you need is your bathing suit and sun tan lotion. We strive to make your Glens Falls Country Club beach experience feel like the beach resort it is: ½ mile from the nearest road and only minutes from home.
